Stay in Touch with Telara with the Rift Mobile Application!

Trion has stepped it up a notch by offering the Rift mobile app for free. This app is currently available for download for your iPhone or Android device. Trion has taken a step in the right direction by offering this application for free without a montly subscription cost.

The Rift mobile app will allow you to access many points in Telara from your mobile device. Chat with guildies or get notifications of a zone event quickly and discreetly with your Rift mobile app.

With constant changes and events in Telara, this is just one more step in the right direction for Trion Worlds. Trion has been in tune with the players needs and has been striving to maintain the ever changing world of Telara.

If you are not currently a Rift player, dont miss an opportunity to try out Rift for free and see what all the talk is about. You can be at level 50 very quickly with one of the Rift leveling guides available. Trion has done a remarkable job and staying ahead of the game with constant updates and world events.

Early Access to SWTOR has begun!

Official release of SWTOR in 5 days, preorders get to play today!

If you preordered Star Wars: The Old Republic, check your email because you could be granted early access as soon as today! The official release of Star Wars comes on December 20th. As with any new video game, the faster your start, the better chance of your domination!

World of Warcraft Patch 4.3 Hits the Streets!

WoW’s Patch 4.3 Live on Servers!

Patch 4.3 arrived yesterday to the many long awaiting fans. This newest patch could perhaps be the last major content patch of this expansion and brings in a wide array of new features. Besides launching the raid that brings on the demise of Deathwing, patch 4.3 brings in new key features to the game.

Rift patch 1.6 arrives today!

Rift brings in the Ember Isles!

Today marks the launch of Rift patch 1.6 The Ember Isles. Servers came down today around 10:00 am pst and should be coming up right now! Rift patch 1.6 brings many exciting new features and updates. Most notably, this new Rift patch brings out the Ember Isles zone. The Ember Isles zone brings forth a whole new way to grow your level 50 character.

PVP in Star Wars The Old Republic

Voidstar Teaser video brings discussion back to PVP!

As we are all hoping, I want Star Wars The Old Republic to be rich in pvp combat and not just be another arena or battleground grinding mmo. The hints that we have recieved from Bioware seem to depict a pvp atmosphere that could be very full filling. After all, who doesn’t want to bash someone’s head in with a lightsabre.

SWTOR brings the obvious potential for some awesome pvp. My concern could be that the extremely rich storyline and pve environment could take away from pvp. I hope I am wrong :)

Attention: Steam players of Rise of Immortals

Rise of Immortal players that use Steam need to log in before tomorrow night!

 

If you are a Rise of Immortal player and you own the game through steam, you need to log in before tomorrow night to get some special halloween achievments and a few holiday related skins.

There is also a nice treat awaiting anyone that refers a friend. If you use the special link provided and the refered reaches level 5 you will earn a petroglyph coin for your friend.

Mists of Pandaria Announced!

Blizz lifted some of the fog today regarding the trade marking of Mists of Pandaria several months ago by announcing the next expansion to World of Warcraft. As many of you know Blizzcon started today and runs this weekend.

Mists of Pandaria will be the 4th expansion to World of Warcraft. Tons of information about this new expac will be streaming in to the internet throughout the weekend. Check back to this site for all the details regarding Mists and what to look for.

Tribes: Ascend Closed Beta Starts Soon!

If you have yet to do so, get on over to the Hi-Rez website and get signed up for Tribes: Ascend. Rumor has it that closed beta testing could begin on the first week of November. Right now, as I type this post, there is a 3 hour server test running with invited cb testers blasting away at each other. Of course, I have yet to see my invite :(

Tribes Ascend will immerse us back in to the world of Tribes with Hi-Rez quality graphics and game play. I know there are many nay sayers but I really enjoyed what Hi-Rez did with Global Agenda. I hope to see Tribes Ascend bring everything that we hope it brings for many of the old time Tribes players.

As soon as I can get in to beta I will continue to bring all of the Tribes info that the NDA will allow, after all this is what you all are craving. Check out the tribes trailer while you sit and constantly refresh your inbox hoping your beta invite arrives

Rift is now 7 months old, still seems to be growing.

With Rifts seven month anniversary also came the newest overview trailer, shown below. With all of the changes and updates to Rift coming in such a frequent manner, it is difficult to understand how this game has only been out for seven months.

Leveling in Rift has been really mastered over this peiod to now allows us to have any character to level 50 in only a matter of days. With Trion’s newest change towards add ons in patch 1.5, we hope to see some quality, in game leveling guides on the market soon. Stay posted to this site as we will feature all of the best mmo leveling guides as they come out.

APB attempts to crack down on exploiters

APB: Reloaded puts out some major smack downs, banning many and putting several on notice for cheating. The APB blog has been updated with an announcement that the ban hammer is there and in force for anyone that attempts to exploit or use cheats in the game. As with every video game, the constant persistance to keep cheaters out is a major concern.

APB is announceing success in combating the biggest 3 creaters of cheats in game. They have announced that they have been watching and have observed many cheats. With many accounts already banned, APB will continue to monitor cheats in game and try to bring down many exploiters.

APB is offering cheaters a chance to remove their exploit programs and come back clean to certain users, but they will be monitored heavily.
